E=mc2andallthat is a Physics teacher with over twenty years at the chalkface (or in front of the interactive whiteboard, as modern parlance would have it).

As a result of this he is now a twisted, cynical and deeply degenerate wreck who, in spite of the best efforts of the hordes of beancounters, cassandras and naysayers who currently hold our noble profession in thrall, still manages to enjoy teaching.

Well, most of the time, anyway.

Gethyn Jones BSc., PGCE, MCCT lives in London with his lovely wife, Laurie.

He is a member of the Chartered College of Teaching (CCT) and was elected to serve on the CCT Council in 2018.

He contributed a chapter on ‘Electrolyzing Engelmann’ in the recent book Explicit and Direct Instruction edited by Adam Boxer and published by John Catt Educational as part of their ResearchED series.

The blog title is a salute to the supremely funny historical satire “1066 And All That” by Sellar and Yeatman.
